how do I change my Windows XP Product key?? I don't want to reformat..

If you have the original installation disk there is a utility that will allow you to remove the existing key and set it up as a factory install that requests the new key. This is usually used by Computer stores and/or IT departments when they first put the computer together since they generally use a version like a Corporate disk that they purchase volume licenses for.

what if I don't have the the original installation disk? can I use someone' disk?

Quite simply ... Yes ... any XP Disc should have the utility.

download that from that link, there is the instructions of how to do it, it is really easy to use, and that way you dont have to do anything weird
