I have an Apple MacBook laptop and just looking to buy a new 20-inch LCD monitor. I would like to hook it up to my laptop and watch movies. Well, there are tons of brands and variety available in the market to choose from. Can anyone suggest me a good brand from personal experience..? My budget is around $100-$150.

Thanks in advance.

I have had two Samsung LCD monitors (SyncMaster 205BW) for the past 9 months and have been very happy with both. It's a bit out of your price range, just thought I'd contribute my 2 cents.

I have and LG Flatron M2294 Wide LCD TV Monitor. And it's TV and monitor, so you can use it as TV when not using the PC, it has HDMI port, DVI, VGA, Component, and it's HD Ready. Sorry, it's not Full HD. But if you have an external graphic card or one that delivers HD signal, it displays it correctly. I have an ATI HD 5750 and it sends HD signal and it's displayed excellent by my monitor.

May consider Samsung brand. The monitor condition is not bad for the past few year. I am not expertise in those IT gadgets so cannot recommend the model. That's all I can help Sticking out tongue
