Well as I'm sure everyone can tell from my profile i'm new around here but did alot of reading today and like the site. I am requesting any comments on my site I am thinking about canning it and starting with a new design or at very least rewriting it with CSS and PHP because of the huge number of unfriendly html docs that go with this site. Thanks for the help.

Very nice design, but it is not SE friendly. The text right now is an image... it should be html.

The design seems to be pretty tidy but i guess there is still some work to be done on the home page, make the content more informative and you need to change the font mate. I noticed that the content is not utilizing the full space of the screen but you can adjust it according to all screen resolutions which would be better i guess. Rest, the site looks impressive.

It's very clean and simple - I like that. Here are two comments:
The font should be sans serif

On the information page - the iframe that you have is pushing the design so there are white spaces all over [screen shot]

Good job though!

I really enjoyed your web design! This could be excellent for you if you worked a little bit of SEO magic into things. If you take your design and strip off all the words and use it as a background with real html text on top of it, you might be in for a pleasant surprise!!

Great design, stick with it, just play around with it a bit!

I like the imagery on the site, it is clean it looks nice and professional. It was obvious when I landed on your site what it was for and why I would want to be there. I think you are leaving money on the table so to speak in that you are missing some opportunity to promote the various aspects of your company. What was not clear to me was who is this for? Can a consumer buy baseball caps for the little league team? Can the corporate promoter get some logo'd caps made to give to employees/customers. What separates you from your competition is also another angle you could use, why you are better than they are. Are your products priced lower/higher? If they are lower are they the same/better quality than your competitors. If they are more expensive, do you offer satisfaction guarentees or higher quality or quantity breaks, etc.

This is a pretty good design overall. I think it sets a good tone for the site and sells the product well. The large photos on the front page are great.

One thing you need to work on here is getting your text out of images and into the HTML. Search engines can't read text in a graphic. Very important problem. It might also be difficult for people who have poor eyesight and may have their browsers set to show large fonts. It's also easier to update.

In order to get that text into HTML you'll probably need to learn some CSS. There are lots of great resources for that and we can surely recommend some if you need it.

One problem I had when browsing the site is that you're referring to caps by a style number which is completely meaningless to me. I don't know what Style 700 means. It would be better to change that to a more meaningful description on the website or at least include an explanation. Photos on the style index pages would be helpful.

I also expected to see a photo when I first loaded the Style700 page, but I didn't. I had to use that row of images along the bottom. The problem is that I mentally blocked that area out becasue I assumed it was the footer of the page. If you have to tell people how to use something then there's a problem with the interface. Even moving those up into the content area, above the red bar would be helpful.

On these pages, the red text is too glaring and doesn't fit with the rest of the design. Change that to match the darker red used in the graphics.

When I click on those images to get a larger version I get a dialog to download a zip file. Again, that's a problem. Just load a regular image in the browser. People will be prepared for it to load slowly. Better yet, provide a regular image the size of the browser window (that would probably be enough).

Good job overall though Smiling These are mostly usability problems.

well I'm redesigning one of my sites the owners said it's about that time and I agree the old page is all tables and degraded code........ I've just been dreading the massive process but I'm starting it now and I would like your comments on the layout..... the links don't work but every page will appear with the same layout. Thanks for your time

Loved the first site - nice and easy to understand although the red text was a bit of a problem to read.

Second site seems to be shaping up nicely - will be interested to see the finished version. Seems as easy to navigate as the first one Wink

Hello. I like your web site design. I think that you use good colors. Generaly your webdesign looks very simple and clear. I think that these things are main in your web design creative. But I suggest you use header and footer on your website.

Looks good.

You need to add Meta tags to your HTML for "keywords" and "description".

Why are the small images of hats linked to ZIP files?? What do I get if I download one... Normally I would never D/L something like that.

I see clicking on the small hat brings up a larger image. That's all it should do in my opinion...

Good luck with the site... I may be back to order some hats for one of my sites:D
