Could someone take a look at my site at http://www.websiteresources.net and tell me what they think of it or what I could do to make it better or what I could remove, if anything.

Craig,
Thank you for the comments and suggestions. I have a couple questions. Do you know how I can have the text "new" be graphics in links 2.0 b.5 Also, how do I make the category page two columbs instead of one. One more thing, what do you mean about that ; thing?

Mellinger, hope this helps:

  • To change the new text to an image, open site_html.pl and edit sub site_html_link

  • With regard to the two columns, as far as i'm aware - that should be the default setting (if not, you'll need to ask in the support forum)

  • The problem with the missing ; is in the &nbspnew - the no breaking space escape must be as follows: & nbsp ; - minus the spaces

Mellinger,
I have to say that I think you need to improve the navigation on the site.
Maybe change the left hand column so it accomodates more links.

JP,
I would fill it in more, but I don't have more links to fill it in. Also, craig, thanks for the info. I don't think the two columbs is default. So I may ask on the forums at gossamer-threads or I may just keep it. Thanks again. BTW, I'm soon going to be starting a free bulletin boards service at my site Smiling

Mel,

If you want to fill some of the dead space on you left hand bar, try a voting poll. It's better that having nothing there at all.
