Thanx Carolyn...

i'd like you guys to take a look at the page Now, i've just changed the navbar. I've mailed quite a few of my buddies all over this country, and gone to some chatrooms to ask some guys to check it out and check if they have errors, but JAVAGAMES came out perfect on all their browsers(IE that is).

Please take a look at the site now then let's talk.

Your left nav frame is cut off at 640Xscreen res. so I can't see the whole button. You need to make the frame a bit wider. You MUST tell me where you got the ani 'busy' guy, I love it!! Did you make it or can I find it somewhere? Anyway it's quite scratchy around the edges used on the black background. Your button 'Another Bad Creation' that's in your nav frame looks kind of amertuerish. The main ABC graphic also could use polishing IMO. I wonder if you moved the words closer together and maybe even tilted some of them if would look better?

The Javagames button has the wrong gif in it after page load. You don't see the blue button until after you do a mouseover. (I shouldn't say it is wrong. You may want it that way.) Also the page that that button goes to shows the source when I tried to go to it.

The Another Bad Creation Banner at the top needs to have a different color in the background. One that either is the same as the background or completely different. Might try making it more three dimensional.

The contact us button is the only one that doesn't say the same thing when you do the mouseover.

Can't wait to see the site when it is more advanced.

OK,

first things first, Jim, you seem to havew a Netscape browser, that is why you are unable to view the page, i have been fixing that problem by moving all my pages to a different server. I have had reports about the source showing up on netscape browsers.
The source didn't show on This page did it! hehehe. I'm busy moving that page, and i'll be redirecting the Url when it is complete. it's just too bad that the guy who criticised me had a netscape browser.Smiling

The contact us button was done like that purposely, bu8t since you want it changed, i'll change it.

the logo at the top of the page will be part of an applet..
see discussions section for my comments there.
else i'll replace it with a 3d-logo.

what else??.....OH! the javaga,es button wasn't really wrong hehehehe. It seems that way because the font size is reversed.(it becomes small on mouseover)

any more???

Hi bandit,
I looked in both Netscape and IE, got the java error with EI4.
I know what you want by "funky" yet professional.
First thing, your menu frame -- On my monitor I have to scroll --horizontally to view the buttons (they don't fit any way I scroll it) So from my point of view on my monitor the page isn't polished any way I look at it.
I think the best way to achieve an artsy funky look is to design the page as a whole -- one big element -- with lots of small working parts, rather then say then 1 menu element, one graphic in the middle etc...... Your elements are funky but as a whole page they don't seem to tie in together (ie 3-d buttons, with funky fonts graphic in the middle)--. You have some cool typography effects going but I think they could be stylized in a way to make the entire element more of an art form rather then a row of funky fonts with words.

Take care,

Nav bar window needs to be wider and that huge title graphic could look better.

ok.
i'm busy on fixing the title graphic.

guys guys, don't worry!! this page is far from complete. i've made the button width smaller. it fits.
i will decrease the width until all of you are satisfied.

Roo, you can have the busy guy, cause i'm not gonna be using that under construction page anymore. just copy it and change the width and height to about 45x45.

gimme about two hours to make some changes.
