Hello,

I just currently bought flash. I am looking for a good book or good site to learn how to do some pretty basic things i believe. I just want to learn how to do some stuff like fading text in and out and make it twirl around and crazy stuff like that. I want to add sound too but that will be later on
Thanks

Bilbong -

For the really easy, good to start with tutorials go to http://designsbymark.com and check out his Flash 4 tutorials. The are very basic. That's how I learned to do my first stuff.

I run one of the largest flash resources on the net at:
http://www.were-here.com

and a large forum at:
http://www.were-here.com/cgi-bin/ubbcgi/Ultimate.cgi

Lots of tutorials and downloads there to choose from.

Also try http://www.virtual-fx.net for some great ones as well.

The best tutorials I have found are the ones that come with the program under the Help menu. Just work your way through them and it will teach you the basics.

After you master those techniques, move on the a site offering advanced tutorials.
