ICQ hack (UBB) -

This is to JP about the ICQ feature.

To add the online/offline image to each message in a thread you only have to do this:

1) Open the file ubb_library2.pl
2) find "$ThisStatus = $thisprofile[8];"
3) Add this below that line:
$icq = $thisprofile[13];
4) Then add this wherever you want the image to appear (within a print function):
<img src="http://online.mirabilis.com/scripts/online.dll?icq=$icq&img=1">
5) Enjoy it

I have been helping JP "test" the new forum software (BigTalker) and I must say I really like it. He is hoping to bring it up tomorrow (last I knew) so he won't be using the UBB anymore. After taking a look at all the functions that the BigTalker has, I am very tempted to use it as well. I think everyone will enjoy it. Sure, we may sacrifice some of the features of the UBB, but we will gain others with the BigTalker. And I am sure that if JP doesn't like it, he will search for another program

Conversion testing is almost complete. Problem is, I'm in the US and JP is in the UK, which makes it hard to get it done as fast as possible.

Thanks for the hack Polpus, but as Chad stated we will convert to BT soon.

Second to our 7/8 hour difference I have to wait till 6.00 pm GMT before I can do any long term online work as I get charged an obscene amount of money before that.
