ssi help, server recognizing, but it's not working -

hello:

i'm trying to use a script with ssi, the script says use "exec cgi", but on my server i have to use "exec cmd". when i view the page the ssi call is recognized by my server because i can't see it in the source. any ideas of what to do? do i need to edit the script and if so how?

I really would need more info here.
Have you checked if you have the right path set?
Do you get a message on the browser when the page is parsed?
My SSI tags look like:

Try this format if you do not already, otherwise, i will have another think about it.
