Need help about Instant message and Login/out
I want to open a community site which have a Member Login/Out function, so that they can instant report who is on their homepage and you can chat or send instant message to online members. Can anyone tell me where can I find those similar software. Have any idea about that? Thanks.

actually, what you want to do would probably be accomplished best with java applets.
dont know where youd look, try cgi-resources.com or matts script archive
