Member login
I have been browsing a couple of these topics already, but they aren't exactly what I'm looking for. On my website, I have forums (phpBB2) and I also have about 60 or so members. Since my site is about a MMORPG clan, I wanted to make it so that my members at the forums could sign in at my main homepage through a username/pass box, into a member area where they can read thier private messages, and check out the clan news.
Is there a way to do this?
Also, I know about the whole Apache thing, but thats not what I want exactly. I want an actual login box on my site, as opposed to a popup that asks you for autorization.
The website (if this helps) is located at ffguild.com, and the forums are located at forums.ffguild.com.
Thanks in advance.

Make sure you read the thread, I'm not sure if the mod works with your version of phpBB. Also, try search their forums for answers. There's no place better than phpBB's own site to find what you're looking for.

Zollets right, check out the phpbb's forums as you can use the login and message section of the forums on your site but it isn't just a single cut and paste, phpbb's forums should help you with the do's and dont's

you could also make a PHP script that would interface with the phpBB database if you want to really customize and control what they see

Okay, I got it setup and everything, but when I go to login and click the 'login' button, it can't access login.php. It works fine if I just hit enter in the navigation bar when that supposedly broken link is there.

make sure your paths are right, unless your new login page is in the forum directory you'll have to include the new path name
