Well I have no idea it's your site. How do users logon currently?
are you asking "is PHP server side code" or telling us that "yes PHP is the code I can use" ?

It seems to me that you need much more than just a login/logout script. I may not know much about your site purpose, but investment information seems to be something you would want encrypted as well....
Here is the big question: Does your webserver allow you to have PHP or CGI pages??
If you have a folder named "cgi-bin" then you probably have some limited access at least to Perl/CGI. Otherwise you are going to have to ask your web-provided, or possibly they may have online FAQs for you to look through.
From there you can go places...

Im sorry the only way to do that is with php or some other form of server side scripting. You will also need a database like mysql. and dont wory you can still put html around the php.

If you want to do it yourself, this will help you out. If you don't want to do it yourself, you'll have to pay someone to do it. What you want isn't something you can just download a script for, it would need to be customized for your site.

Hey theres this javascript once that accepts username and passwords... not really very secure but heres what it does, the username is provided by a user then encode a certain html page for that username, then the password is embedded on that page which is checked out by the password query after the useraname was checked.... Then opens that page... I am very sure theres a javascript for this one...
