blog and message board with one login.
I am looking for a solution to a website that has a blog and a message board, that draws from the same databse, so when someone signs up/in, they are logined into both and don't have to create a second login for either the blog or message board. any direction to canned solutions would be great, thanks.

I guess I should also state that I want each member ot have their own blog. so it woul dhave to be a multi user blog system, Joomla huh?

Im pretty sure there is a version of Wordpress that is multi user, I read it in another thread here.
Can anyone confirm?

Yup Joomla is similar to Mambo, it is the more current reiteration of the Mambo engine, as far as offering blogs go, heres a link

Also, in case that's not for you, a lot of message boards have add-ons for user blogs. phpBB does for sure.
