Problem with FTP Server?

hi,

I have an account with a Host, which uses Ensim for their webservices. Now the problem is that from the past month, I am facing a strange problem with FTP, its is like I cant upload or view the Directory listing of "wwwroot" folder where all the files are publised, the FTP software hangs does not display any thing at all.

Now recently they are migrating to a new server, So I was asked 2 publish the site again to the new server. I was uploading the files while the same problem arose. I uploaded a few files, I dont know wt could the prblem b? I didnt change any configuration.

So, Can you please help me out with finding the solution to this problem.
