DNS not working with WWW prefix

Hi there

We have currently just launched a website. However we can access the website at http://domain.com HOWEVER can not access it at http://www.domain.com ..

Can anyone give any advice as to why the prefixed 'www' will not resolve?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Check your DNS settings to make sure you have a CNAME record to point www.domain.com to domain.com.

Another possibility is your host server settings redirect the "www" address to the one you see. If you know about ".htaccess" (google it) you can take a look at this. Otherwise get in touch with your host service.

FWIW - I deliberately set my latest domain to redirect to the "no www" version 'cos I prefer it...
