dedicated server
Hi,
This post isnt actually about any specific dedicated server and or company, so I put it in here. I have to consider a dedicated server for my sites but apart from knowing the basic knowledge, I dont know anything about adminstering the server. I will be getting an NT server, so if anyone knows where I can find information on how to operate a server (ie setting up accounts, how to analysis how the system is operating and stuff) it would be much appreciated!

Your host will most likely get you control panel which allows you to control all asperts of your server (hosting other domians etc)

well do they provide tutorials and such for using the software as the charge for support most often runs at $100 + per hour

Ravi, Contact the service provider. Each company uses different server management software, depending on the company and the server specifications.
If the company cannot tell you what management features they offer - don’t use them. I believe the company your looking at uses Symantec pcAnyware.
