New G5 iMac- advice needed

Hi,

For a long time I have been PC user and I have finally decided to make the switch to a Mac. Being on a budget (and not able to afford the quad G5!) I am opting for the 20' imac G5 with 1.5 gig RAM. My work is mostly design (Flash, Photoshop, Swift 3D, etc.) and basiclly I'm wondering if the iMac G5 is powerful enough for the job,

Its enough, would run those programs quite good...

Switching to mac means you gotta repurchase all those programs huh? Such as photoshop... flash... etc.

I'm actually looking into it, even if it's a bit late as I just bought all the programs I need but only for PC
