I'm one of those evil people that either lets DW do all the uploading for me, uses ie or the command line (the command line isn't so bad actually Smiling )

WS_FTP LE is no longer available but a google search will find a copy somewhere. I use it, WinSCP if there are firewall problems, and the 'nix command line version.

I live by SmartFTP, I would highly recommend this software over any listed in this thread so far for both the simplicity and advanced features. Including threaded uploads/downloads, quick and easy drag/drop interface, custom commands, etc. etc.

SmartFTP for me. Works great! I've found it much better than WS_FTP, IMO.

We don't correct spelling around here but the correct spelling is Convenience.

As teammatt3 says I also vote for Fileilla. It is open source so free to use. Pretty nice features and also found to be fast.

Filezilla or WinSCP3(the PuTTY SSH thing is illegal in the UK I got told. I'm not sure if true, but I have no reason to use it, so i won't)

LeechFTP is oldschool and rocks. Hasn't been updated in like 7 years and is still a top download on download.com Otherwise I use FlashFXP or WebDrive (both require payments).

I like Total Commander. It also allows you to compare two files by content in case you need that.
