Photoshop for me, i've been using it since about 2000 or so, version 4 and i've just stuck with it since then. I remember back then you couldn't even draw boxes on it or anything but it still impressed me

I use the suite of Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, InDesign, etc.). If you had money to spend on it, that would be my first suggestion, but because I see that you are low on money, I'd recommend GIMP. GIMP is a highly advanced open source graphics editor. It is very similar to Photoshop and is ideal for beginners and professionals alike.

Photoshop may be the best known graphics software and it may seem like everyone uses it.I use Paint Shop Pro X but not for work. I like to take photos with my digital camera as a hobby and PSP is very good. Photoshop is too expensive for my taste.I use Inkscape and company when making vector images, and for all miscellaneous graphic editing needs I use The GIMP.

I use Adobe Photoshop in combination with Ulead PhotoImpact. There are something that you can easily do in Ulead PhotoImpact with inbuilt templates that might require more complex procedures when done with Photoshop.

I use Adobe Photoshop. Adobe Photoshop, or simply Photoshop, is a graphics editor developed and published by Adobe Systems. It is the current market leader for commercial bitmap and image manipulation, and is the flagship product of Adobe Systems. It has been described as "an industry standard for graphics professionals."Although originally designed to edit images for paper-based printing, Photoshop can also be used for a wide range of other professional and amateur purposes.

I have been using Paint Shop Pro since version 3. It is light and fast to load, and it meets our requirement, which are not too fancy.

My co-workers however use a Free program called Irfanview. This is an extremely small but versatile program (The file size is only a little over 1 MB). It is useful for simple graphics work like crop, resize, rotate, etc.

Photoshop certainly is the most popular choice! Pixel is a good alternative (although it costs a small amount of money to purchase and is closed source). If you really need Photoshop, without paying the full Photoshop price, this looks good to me. Smiling
