Hi,

I have just launched my web design site at www.d-core.com .

I would appreciate any comments or suggestions on my layout and graphic design.

Also, being that I am currently looking to add to my portfolio, I am looking to do site design/redesigns at for the time being at very low costs.

So if anyone is interested in requesting my services please email me at [email protected] and I will be sure to give you a fair estimate.

Another current project I have just finished can be seen at http://www.d-core.com/projects any comments on this page would also be appreciated. Thank You!

Hi Tim,
I really like the way your site is laid out, colors, etc......
the table is small and streamline. I tend to agree with JP about the little cut out square in the corner, it looks unfinished -- could be the proportions of it, it just doesn't make sense to me as a design element-- maybe if you were to adjust the size or balance it with another graphic in another part of the page. I'm thinking you will be adding to the content as well? You could add things like pricing etc....
Projects page:
well I see some nice banners but not a lot of incentive to click on them, I think I would maybe add some more exciting excerpts from the links and maybe make this line:
"A site for exciting wealth building tools, products and
programs."
a little larger or colorful to draw more attention to it.

take care,

Thanks for the suggestions and comments.

The reason for that notch was the page just looked a little to plain without something extra on the top portion, I guess you are right though it does make the site look unfinished. I will either get rid of it or try to make something to replace it. Yes, I will be adding much more content...right now I am just testing the water with web design while filling up my portfolio.

As for the projects page, I'll be sure to make that quote stick out more....though, it was just a graphical redesign of a site and the client just wanted me to touch up the visual side and not the content.

Anyway, thanks again for the tips.

Hi there,
- I like the splash page graphic
- However I'm not sure why you decided to put the site in such a small table? It looks a bit squashed to me.
- The colours are good, and go well together
- I don't like the little square gap at the bottom of the logo though.
