We recently redesigned our company's website and would welcome some thoughts on it...what you like, don't like, what could be done better, etc.

Currently the content of some pages still needs to be rewriten and there are a couple that need some design tweaking. The main page is the one I'm most interested in at the moment.

Take a look at www.ctv.org

I really like the site. Especially the logo. Nice and simple. I would like to see the white background on the main story have some color in it. Maybe a lighter version of the color in the logo. Also put the cornergrey.gif on both sides of the main story.

I agree with Jim, the logo is really neat. But about changing the white background on the main story: Don't. White is nice.
I also feel the top righthandcorner looks a little empty.

Otherwise..very nice Smiling

Hi,

I think the page is fine, but i have to agree with Jes, you need to put somehting in that top-right corner to get rid of that empty space.

How about an ALT tag for Alvin Slaughter's picture.

- I think the right hand column should be in the same distance away from the center column as the left.
- Don't like the textured bg
- Try and have all the columns finish at the same level.
- The pole/other table could be the same size as the nav buttons.
Hope that helps,
JP

Thanks to all you of you for your comments. I'm really happy with how it looks now compared to what it was before.

Wasn't sure what JP meant by "The pole/other table could be the same size as the nav buttons." though.

Thanks again for all of your comments. Smiling

Hi Lee,
Love your colors, site has a warm inviting feeling. Very nice layout, I would leave the "space" in the upper right corner.
I like the background but I"m wondering if there are too many textures. The background texture -- warm homey feeling like walls, then the diamond on top is sparkling and sharp, 3-d grey buttons, raised table border, then the flat white text area. I think there may be one texture too many. They all look great, so I can't tell you which one I would give up, maybe texturize your buttons to match or flatten the background?

Hope I helped
take care,

I agree about the righthand space. How about if you centered it and used the purple graphic on each side of the text? I like the background.Nice and clean looking. Only thing I saw that I didn't like was the colored lines on you program schedule page. It just looks yucky (on any page), and doesn't seem to fit with the overall scheme of the site.

Differ font for prophecy text, cheap looking font, and no italics for "getting together", could barely read it. Other than that, it's a pretty nice layout.

On the main page, the navigational buttons, I think you should add some javascript so when the mouse goes over one of them, that button looks like it is being pressed down. Overall I like the layout very much.

Sorry, I meant the tables you have under the navigation buttons should be the same width as these buttons.
Clearer? Smiling
