- I would center the top links.
- redo the logo so it does not have jagged edges.
- drop the bg image

You might also want to get rid of the table border.

thanks everybody. I really appreciate your input. I hadn't gotten to changing the color on the "new" image yet, and agree that I need to make the BG transparant on it. The BG was the first I've ever done and I will have to research how to do it without the repeating image. I'm not very good at graphics at this point and don't know how to get rid of the jagged edges on the logo, but I'll work on it. Thank you very much everyone for taking the time to look at and critique my efforts thus far! Kim

I think your navigation buttons need some work as well - I don't know what's wrong with the plain text (not on buttons) - they look like poorly made transparent .gif's but then I realized that the whole thing is one big image. Are you planning on chopping it up for the final version or using an image map? Mouseovers might be a nice touch.

Another thing is that the text for the bottom link is much smaller than the text on the other buttons. Could you maybe get rid of the word "Option" in "Option News Network" so the text could all be the same size on the buttons?

Hi Kim,
Nice looking site. Love the picture with drop shadow. Like JP said i would lose the repeating bk image. you can use something a little less defined -- like a subtle green texture or one fairly large screened background image (that doesn't repeat).
menu headings look jaggy as well as the main heading.
Almost have too many colors, the pink "new" with white background might look better in red (without background, so it looks more like the stars above it.
I might move some of the bulleted items from the bottom up onto your table since the page is getting really long Smiling.

take care,
Carolyn
