I like the subtle background watermark! It's really nice.

I do agree with JP that it is a little bland. Might want to add some more photos.

For some reason it seems to be a tad on the slow side. You may want to check into that.

But I really like how clean and professional it is! Great job!

I think that your site looks fantastic - I only wish I had as good graphic design skills. The 3D navbar on the left looks good, simple and easy to read. The pictures of people which blend or fade to the background look excellent.

Keep it up.

For a first page it is fantastic!
- animated image looks (size and location) like a banner and thus does not attract any attention - delete or relocate it.
- the whole site is a bit dull as well.
+ I like the bg image.
+ the whole site has a very professional feel to it.

Hi Babbler
Nice looking page, very professional looking and well done for a first page, a bit slow loading graphics intense though.
I like frames done in this way (no border) but since I "still" have a small monitor I have to scroll, then scroll to read the right column, then scroll back to read the left (I would rather lose the menu for awhile while scrolling then the text I'm reading) if that makes sence Smiling.
As far as JP's comment on your animated banner, I agree, one way to take care of this would be to extend that graphic to the entire page width and add your static logo to the left corner -- would also polish off the top of the page better.
I love the duotone people images but they look so cold (blue) I think I would warm them up a bit, that blue doesn't really tie into your page colors.

take care,

Thanx!

Those messages were really encouraging.

I also agree that the site is a little bit on the slower side, I want to find out whether compressing & optimising the images further would have any effect on it. If so can any of u suggest where & what tools can I look around for. It would also b great if they r free!

Yes, I agree - from a highly technical point of view I would advise covering them up at night with a cotton blanket and a warm cup of cocoa. Smiling

Hey Babbler, A big welcome to the forums. Your page looks great. Only thing I noticed that hasn't been pointed out is to add a bgcolor tag to your body header. Default color for macs is grey. makes the page look bad Sad

Keep up the good work.

Hi! Jim,

Thanx a load for that major tip on the goof-up, will do it first thing on Monday.

But I did check it out on an IMac running IE4 & it looked OK, though I didn't check it out on Netscape. Anyways I'll b adding that tag.

Regards

Babbler
