Hey there,
My site Cavies Galore, http://www.caviesgalore.com needs a review. Keep in mind that a cavy (or cavies) is a guinea pig. I made this page because I have two cavies of my own and I try to update the content about once every 3 weeks or so.

pretty nice site, i'd replace the logo with an actual picture of one of those animals. it would really add to your site, an actually photo.

Hi there Pluto,
Interesting, subject Smiling.
First off I think you should use the alternate term (guinea pig) somewhere on your site, I wouldn't have known what the site was about if I hadn't read that in your post here.
you should either give your tables transparent backgrounds since you have a background pattern --if you don't want the background showing in your tables I would suggest changing or deleting the background pattern since it's cut off around the table--
I would only use one "cavies galore" logo. The graphic could use a little work -- pic of cavie is small and again, I wouldn't have known what it was if you hadn't mentioned it here.
I love your content, cavie lovers around the world will enjoy your site Smiling.

take care,

- I would have the logo go all the way accross the top of the page.
- A few pictures would improve the page.
- Put some cellpadding in the blue cell to move the text from the table side.

In the TABLE tag set CELLPADDING=10 (or whatever size looks good)

I would make your headings links (use CSS to get rid of the underline) - that confused me for a minute. I would also dress up your title a bit - maybe a .gif with a different font or something.

Otherwise - really nice site (because less is more!)

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the review. I know it's been almost a month since you all posted but I lost this url and I've been searching for it. Anyway, I got rid of the background and I put 2 cavies in the logo. How would I go about using JP Stones' suggestion to put in some cell padding in the blue cell? Thanks for the great comments.

Okay, I just finished a slew of improvments. I've never used CSS though. So, how do I (exact code please) make the links have no underline in Netscape? I did this with IE, but I don't know CSS. If your wondering, a logo for the text Cavies Galore is in the works.

Some CSS commands are supported by Netscape. Head over to netscape.com for a list/tutorial.

Okay then,
What can I use to get rid of the underlined links in Netscape?
