Hello Everyone!
I've got two websites that I'd like some comments / questions / suggestions for:

NashNET - http://nashnet.blurzero.com/ - A source for Nash Bridges news. Nash Bridges is a San Franciso based cop show, if ya didn't know Wink (CBS at 10pm on Friday Nights )

The Unreal Realm - http://ur.blurzero.com/ - The Official Website for UR, an Ultima Online server.

Both of these sites are written in HTML, and use CSS to link the headers, footers, and sidebars toghether. This was needed to make the headlines section easier to update.

Again, any comments, questions, or especially suggestions are welcome.

Thanks,

Hi Edward "blur" Smiling
I think your sites have an interesting layout. I think the first one, Nash, could use a brighter logo (picture), maybe highlighting some of the stars/sex appeal?
I'm not sure if you need that many posts "headlines"on the first page.
looks like a very interesting site for Nash fans Smiling
Other site looks about the same as the first one. I like the logo.

take care,
Carolyn

You guys were right, grey didn't look good. I decided to switch over to blue, and I'm alot happier with it.

I also switched the links from purple to orange, and they do stick out alot more.

I wanted to see how the page looks centered, and I like it. It looks better in larger screen sizes.

I'm still working on a new logo, but I'm kinda stuck, any suggestions?

Have you seen an official Nash Bridges logo? you would need permission to use it but it would work well. Or maybe take some clips (pics) of the characters/stars on the show and add them. Another idea would be to take a symbol/icon from the show (don't watch it so I don't have any suggestions) and incorporate that somehow.

take care,

Ooohhh! Much better! Still is dark, but I can see things so much better and the links and logo are 'popping' much more!

Great job!

It does look better, doesn't it?

Yes, I have seen the official page (http://www.nashbridges.com), but I don't really like the logo... Still not sure what to do, I want to keep it simple, and have it blend in well to the page... I'll make a post when I figure something out Wink

Unreal Realm critique on the way...
- weird feeling here that the site 'starts' to early... Myabe you could center the logo and incl. it into the table.
- I would reduce the border size to 1 or 2.
- please get some pictures!

Thanks for the input! I'll see if I can't get something new up this afternoon.... one question - do you guys think I should center NashNET? Thanks!

'Blur',

I think the sites are nice looking! Here is some advice:

I agree that there is too much info on the home page of Nash net. Maybe you could break that up so it isn't so overwhelming.

I think that both logos need to be punched up. They are too small and light.

I don't particularly like the gray background on Nashnet. It makes everything kind of hard to see.

Because everything is so dark on Nash, I also think that the links are kind of hard to discern. Maybe making them a brighter purple or a different font to make them stand out more. (the links on unreal stand out much better - I really like how that site 'pops')

Both sites just need some graphics to break things up a little more

Overall really good job! I like them a lot!
