Hey Peeps!

Tell me how I'm doin'!

http://go.to/12122k

I know my budget is low, so do not say anything about hosting, little tiny images at front page, etc. We All Start Somewhere!

Be as hard as you like or be as nice as you like. I need to know the good the bad and the ugly.

I think it rocks! But we all think that about our own sites... Smiling

Hey mate,
VERY nice looking, very original, very easy to use I rarely find a site I actually like but this is one Smiling

A few points:
- the icons that are associated with about, portfolio etc do not seem to really fit with their title. eg about = radiation sign, no real link...

- the text near the bottom looks wrong centered and broken up. It might be better simply left aligned.

Well done!

The graphics look pretty nice Smiling even though they seem to have no use. [that h one above the email, for example]

I agree with JP about the usefulness of the icons as to what they stand for.

The page has a nice air to it, keep that and you should do fine Smiling

Hey!

Thanks for the good critiques!

BTW: The icon above the email, eg... H... will change when an item is selected from the menu. Just as a point of reference, but I can see where your coming from.

Also, I'm gonna have to see if i can find out stuff with the icons. I dont really know any icons that 'show' about, services, etc. But I will find some...eventually.

So far most of my other critiques have been good also. But no clients! ahhhhhh!

Again thanks!

Hi there,
I love your site, I think it rocks too Smiling.
Pretty much the same comments as the others, I noticed the link to nowhere (icon) but now that I read your post I understand it. Was that done in front page? maybe I haven't been giving that software enough credit Smiling.
take care,
Carolyn

Hey! Smiling

Thanks a lot for all your good critiques.

I'll take into thought everything you have mentioned. I do know there is a problem with Netscape showing bg's on tables. I only have one area that has a picture for the bg, and that's where the date is placed. So I'm not too worried about it, but I should consider it.

As with colors, right now everything is in 16-bit. I could change it to 256, but I do not know how much it would change the look of it. I'll do a test tonite and find out.

I am also considering a name change, so it might be easier to remember. I know short and simple is the way to go. I just came up with 12.12.2000 on the spot.

As with getting a domain name, I do not have the money for that yet. I need more clients. The page hasnt even been up a week, and I like the responses so far! Smiling

See, 15 yr olds can do a good job! hehe.. Smiling

Thanks again people!

BTW: JP I like your new site design! Smiling I am using IE5 now, and it looks superb.

Oh and I forgot to add!

Everything was done in Macromedia Dreamweaver 2 and Fireworks 2. I've been working with the first versions for almost a full year, and now I just got the newer versions.

I've used FrontPage before, I do not like it.

Thanks! Smiling

I love your site, too!!!

Maybe its a bug in Netscape but the backgrounds of the tables appear black. Well, it was fixed after a reload. If you have done it with frontpage their might be a small incompatability with none Microsoft browsers.

Maybe you should limit the number of colors in your site to a smaller number. You have a very good color scheme for the main elements, but I think there should only be one extra color for mouseovers, etc.

12122000.com is still free. Reserve it.

Very Good Job,

Malte

A few comments on the domain name. I would not register 12122000.com if you ever intend to advertise your site via radio/press as it is such a hard name to remember.

You might even consider a company name change...

Can you have a glance at my website please Smiling : http://www.webmaster-forums.com/cgi-bin/bigtalker/discussion.cgi?forum=12&discussion=165
