Your Drupal 5 video on front page
Hello. I just got done watching and reading your article at: http://www.apaddedcell.com/creating-a-custom-home-page-in-drupal-using-v...
I want to thank you for your effort, but also a request. I'm completely new to drupal and I'm using drupal 6 and views 2. I tried to follow your instructions, but view2 2 is so different from views 1 I did not know how to make a front page like you did.
I may be asking a lot, but would you consider doing the same type of video but for drupal 6 and views2 showing us how to make a custom front page.

Hello sir I always read your replies in all threads and i always follow your advices and you always write correct so i always treat you as my Teacher and I am very much addicted of your replies but sir the link which you have provided is not working, i think its dead please check it, I am anxious to read it but its not working i have also tried to open it through a proxy site but still its not opening.

Hi Steve,
We do plan on doing an update of this article for Drupal 6/Views 2. Unforutnately the author is extremely busy at the moment but as soon as he has time I'll make sure he gets it done.

Thanks..I saw the video and yes I did google before I posted here. I hate it when others assume you didn't and tell you to google...otherwise, why have community forums, just tell everyone to google. What I found does not cover the subject of using views2 for customizing your home page, that is why I posted here. Check out google serp on views 2, attachment display, or whatever keyword combination you want (I tried a few hundred) and most tutors are very poorly done. Oh well. thanks anyways.

The Mastering Drupal video comes up at the top of that search, which happened to be my first search to look up additional resources for you. So I thought perhaps you did not try to search.
You can also search on drupal.org and filter your results by book page or project.
I know that LMGTFY is annoying, I was having a cranky day.

Yes, I agree with you on that Steve. Sorry we can't help you out! The author of that aritcle is currently extremely busy working on a patch for the private message module, actually
