UBB or BigTalker - Why did you choose BigTalker

I just wanted to ask you why you choose BigTalker over Ultimate Bulletin Board, which Communitech provides as standard.
Is BigTalker better and faster.

I think he got big talker free and a possible job with the maker, pretty good deal. He was using ubb at first, but then switched because he said it was faster. I can't tell a difference though.

I chose BT over UBB because:
a/ the UBB I was using belonged to my host and therefor if I decided to move host/got kicked off I lost my forum.
b/ UBB was becoming very messy with pointless features, I was getting fed up with hacking to remove loads of these features.
c/ BT is faster. IMHO
After purshasing BT I got to know the author Joseph and as fairhousing previously wrote should be going to work for him in the near future.
