A Few Changes to the Rules

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let you know about a few changes to the rules. These are really quite minor but I wanted to make sure that everyone was aware of them.

The first is a change in wording in the Offensive Content section of the rules. This just makes our policy a little more clear.

The second is a rule against animation in avatars. This is described in the main rules and on the avatar upload page. If you see any animated avatars please let me know.

The third is a line at the bottom of the main rules indicating that we may change the rules at any time and members are explected to comply with any changes. I will always announce changes here in the forum related area, as I am doing now.

Finally, there is a change to the Market Place guidelines prohibiting the advertisement of sites in direct competition with TWF. I think the reasons for this are quite obvious Members may still use signatures to promote other webmaster forums at this time. There is also a line in there indicating that we may change the guidelines at any time and delete any posts that we find to be inappropriate. (You would not believe how many posts we delete from that forum! We are thinking about making some other changes that would make things more clear).
