I've noticed that some people put a full stop (period) staight after typing in a URL, this really annoys me coz when you click on the link you get a 404. Is there any way of preventing a dot at the end of a url being part of the <a> tag?

many folks do it because they're ending a sentence or what they think to be a sentence. the only was around it that i know is to just edit the period out of the browser after u get a 404 page.

good luck

That is exactly what I do, but it really pisses me off.
