I need some help dealing with a banner program.

Hi,

I have signed up and just was accepted for a banner program called Web Site Sponsors. When I was accepted I got the html code to put onto my page. The code was one of those types of codes where you had to change a couple numbers in the code when you put it on other pages of your site so you can get more accurate statistics. That is a problem for me because I have over 100 pages at my site and I use SSI on all my pages. What I want to do is have a RANDOM number go into the code everytime the page/banner loads. This way I will get very accurate results.

I have seen this done before on other sites and other programs. I am not sure if I have to use CGI and/or Javascript to do it, that is why I posted in the CGI forum. I have can use cgi scripts on my server.
