I am facing excessive email spam on my Server. On of my client in sending more than 4000 emails. I already suspended his account. We have very strict policy for Spam.

Can anybody suggest a tool/software/method to email us whenever someone on our server send more than 100 emails?

Thanks.

Shikha

I don't really know of any programs that will do that. You might be able to write a script that will tell you that info.

What kind of server and mail server program are you running?

Hello,

I am using Red Hat Linux 7.3 with latest WHM/Cpanel & Sendmail.

Sad don't know how to write shell scripts.

I do not know of any scripts/programs that do this, I would just actively check your mail reports as part of your daily administration. Should be easy to catch this way.

Typically your spammer will have a ton of bounced emails so I generally look in the mail queue in WHM and 86 anybody I even suspect of spamming.

Matt
