I am running Windows XP Home and I want to also run a server (host) for a Flight Simulating group. I am using FS Host for this operation which is in a folder on my C: drive. I have tried to make a htaccess file to stop some individuals from viewing my host when connected to the internet. So far unsuccessful. 
Doing more research I see that maybe I need the apache server to run it properly. 
I have download the apache server software and not installed as yet. If I do need this apache server software do I place my FS Host folder inside the apache folder? Any help is great appreicated I am a newbie and hope I have posted this messge inthe proper forum. Thanks you in advance.

If you have no idea about installing and managing apache, you should ask somebody to do it for you.
