That's what their policy is (you have to live in the Christmas Islands to get a 1 or 2 letter domain), but yesterday I got an email from Andre (support for NICCX) saying that they registered the domain for me. So I own it now.
Anyway- does anyone know what this domain might be worth? I doubt I'll sell it, I'm just wondering...

Maybe its only worth what you paid for it. I dont see any special meaning in cx (like fm - www.kiss92.fm or .md for medical doctor).

ADAM: 1) there aren't any 1 letter domains left, and 2) they don't allow people outside the Christmas Islands to buy 1/2 letter domains. I still don't know why they let me...
RAVI: yeah, but it's a one letter domain name. I know it's only worth about 1/10th of what the .COM would be worth...

There is only one way to see what it's worth. Put it out on the open market and see what people are willing to pay. Contact other registrants with similar domain names and see if they want to purchase it.
