In a crunch

I have been negotiating a contract with a client who is in charge of a state organization. I got a signed contract, but today he came to me and said “I think the board will shoot down my proposal for the website, I have to give a presentation tomorrow and I have no material”. Now, it is not my responsibility to prepare this content, but this is a friend of the family and of course I would not feel right asking him to honor the contract If he cannot use my deliverable. So, I’m stuck tonight trying to put together a case study presentation illustrating the benefit of a web-based application. The contract includes:

· A contact management system with an automated email newsletter, reducing expenses and time from their current snail mail newsletter.

· A content management system to allow board members to update the website content. (WYSIWYG)

· And of course, the website itself.

Could anyone kindly point me to some current case studies already showing these benefits? Is there any copy on the web currently that I could use? I’m in a real crunch any help is appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
