    <description> &lt;p&gt;Have you asked them what they are doing to fix the issue?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;How are you preforming the backups?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It could be that whatever you are using to back it up may be locking the tables , doing the backup, then forgetting to unlock the tables.&lt;/p&gt;
