Hello,
First of all the look and feel of the website is great.
-Really useful
-Search navigation is great
-Though it is focused on a local level then i would say good job on that.
-A lot of pictures gives an idea to the user what could be expected.
-I would totally agree with shoeless biker on contact tab on top.
-I would suggest to keep the volume of photographs low and more of information on the home page that would be good.

First I must say good

Hi,
First I must say good job! though i have a few pointers..
I agree with the previous posting regarding the bar with the changing words- it tends to look funny as the transition isn't fluid and doesn't make sense between transitions.
The content- it's located bellow, meaning the viewer must scroll down inorder to be able to really get a feel of your site's purpose.
your site's purpose- I'm not from Ireland, and had wouldn't know that your site is for ventures in Ireland. the tab has the word Ireland in it, but other than that its hard to find. Later when you're gearing your website for SEO purposes you'll need those keywords to come up pretty often.
Contact tab on top- Perhaps a tab that scrolls down with the page would be useful, that way you always have a point of reference. I'm pretty new to this whole thing, so i wouldn't know how to code it.
The deals that appear at the head- Perhaps a nice slide show would suffice, it takes up too much room.
Good job!
good luck

The first impression I got

The first impression I got when I visited the website was the visual display was overwhelming. There was no white space at all. The photographs were all over the website. Could not register even one photograph or place.

The navigation bar shows “Your destination”. But when I type in a destination it says invalid destination. The user does not have a clue what destination can be entered. It does not give a pull down menu to a list of destinations. The navigation bars need to be easy to understand and use. The browse by locations is on the bottom of the webpage. This could be changed to top as the visitor will be looking at locations and then go to type the destination on the tab which will make the navigation easy.

There is a bar which keeps displaying “places for family, places for beaches and places for golf”. But everything is being repeatedly displayed on the same tab. This needs to be changed and has to be on different tabs.

Also there are pictures of places to stay and a rental holiday home displayed on the first page itself for different places. This is too much information on the first page. This can be made into a slide show at the bottom or on one side of the webpage.
