"I am also new to HTML and CSS".

Carlynn, I note this is your first post and you are creating a website using HTML & CSS.

If this is your first stab at creating a website I'd recommend using Drupal. Drupal is free. This site uses Drupal. Drupal 7 can be installed very simply, and sites can be created without even knowing ANY HTML or CSS.

That said, once you've got your site up, Drupal is such powerful software that you can then change things using a little bit of HTML & CSS at a time.

Guess what I'm saying is, don't learn HTML & CSS to create a website, create a website and THEN see how you can use HTML & CSS.

Drupal 7 is now ideal for beginners and experienced webmasters alike.

I've got a vested interest in this next bit. My company publishes 'Drupal 7 Step by Step' Manual. Not sure if this link will be left, but you can get it from Amazon if this ends here! Book can be downloaded directly from http://www.publisher.technology-now.co.uk/store/index.php?main_page=prod...

Hi Carlynn,

Welcome to the forums! Please feel free to ask about anything you're having trouble with. Posting code is fine. Even better, put your files up on a website somewhere so we can take a look at the real thing. It's a lot easier to troubleshoot that way.

Good luck with learning web design! We're happy to help in any way we can.
