Overall, the website is user friendly. Its easy to register and log in. On the other hand, instead of making the user click on the company listed, I think it would be helpful to include a proper description of what the business does and also the location, so its easy for the customer to find exactly what they are looking for. There is also no contact us link and the website does not catch my attention as I would have hoped it would. By adding more color, pictures and videos on how to use the website could be more effective.

I think this site must have changed a little from reading these posts. I think it looks really good. Its coulour is light and not overdone. I agree with weddings_zone though that I think there are a few too many business logos on the front page.

The problem you might face:
There are a lot of directories on the net. So why should I register with you?
Solution: you might have to add sites by your self at first in order for visitors to see some content. This is made in connection with promoting the site.

In order to make the home page load faster, you can display the latest eight companies and put a link to expand the list if the visitor wishes to see more. This way I don’t have to scroll all the way down to see the privacy policy. If you want to display all of them on the home page, you should provide a link to get back to the top of the page to avoid making the user scroll all the way back.

I noticed that there are no ‘Contact Us’ page. This would be useful for visitors to leave comments and to made inquiries.

I suggest that the ‘Add Company’ link should only be displayed when the user have log into the site instead of display the error message.

I am not sure what constitute a product search. I tried to search for the word sugar and glass but get no result. I expected to find company that sells sugar or glass. I don’t have to search for the same word in the company name to find them.

The website is loading quite slow and this will effect the overall design, but badly not in a positive way.
The logo and menu doesn't fit very well together and because they are very close together on the site you could better make these look even
