Hi DavidIpswich, You recommended drupal but, from my experience of website building I've found WordPress is much easier than drupal, Joomla and other Content management system. Even I recommend all new comers to start with WordPress, Because of it's beginners friendly UI and hundreds of Themes and plugins. and WordPress has built-in support for automatic plugin and theme installation.
