    <description> &lt;p&gt;That would depend on the design of the site and how you want to handle the height. Do you want the main area to expand to fit the height of the browser? That can be done with JavaScript. Another option would be overflow:hidden, or using position:fixed to keep the footer at the bottom of the page.&lt;/p&gt;
