You need the drivers of your hardware to function on win 7, you should have checked them with windows 7 upgrade advisor tool, before installing windows 7, in order to chek your hardware compatibility before upgrading your system, because it can happens that some machines have hardware incompatibility, and they wont run win7 as suppossed to be. Check it with that tool to see if there are drivers for that hardware.

Check with your PC's website for Windows 7 drivers. If your windows are very laggy, I'm guessing you probably don't have the Windows drivers loaded either, and it is using the default display driver.

Most PC manufacturers have a support website for driver updates.
