Just recently started uploading sites through Filezilla, it seems to be pretty easy to deal with and contains some advance setting which really helps to upload files in quick time.

I use Filezilla...
Your FTP

I use Filezilla...

Your FTP client uploads and Download speeds do not matter what client you use its all about what provider you use. That is where the speed matters because if you have Comcast residentual service your getting a 1.0 - 2.0 mb upload depending on your area and on a business your getting between 2.3 - 3.5 mb up. Now as for DL you always get the best speed from a Comcast Business with unlimited up and Down.

So it all just depends on your service provider to be honest........

I used to use WS_FTP a lot, then CuteFTP and I liked it a lot, but since it's shareware I got tired of it. File Zilla is what I use right now, it's free and awesome. I even use it to transfer files to my Android's SD card via WiFi.

I used to use IPswitch, which is great, but I learned about FileZilla from a friend, which essentially does the same things for free. Needless to say, I switched over to FileZilla. It works great on both PC and Mac. You can have multiple connections active at once in separate tabs, which is convenient for me, when I'm going back and forth between multiple projects.

FileZilla is perfect for me because it is fast, free and most importantly, cross-platform FTP client.

Interesting, I had never heard of that. I just checked CuteFTP to see if it has it and it does, so going to give that a try.

Normally for server to server, I just use rsync.

FileZilla is great because it is free and frequently updated. However I used to and still use FlashFXP, it is a paid for software with a trail, but I like the fact I can FXP (File eXchange Protocol) between servers, wich is great when I want to send files from server to server.
