Hi there

Go to my network places on the desktop click on view network connection on the left side of the window. Then local area connections i can appears right click on it and then go to property in that go to internet protocol then click on properties then you can able to view IP Address of a system.

If in windows:
open a command prompt (start -> run -> type 'cmd')
type 'ipconfig'. One of the entries output will be:

'IP Address... '

On most unix machines:

type 'ifconfig' on the command prompt
