That's pretty much why I

That's pretty much why I recommended FCKeditor. Why do you need the most features? Is there something special you're trying to do? In that case you may need to try a few and see which one can do what you want. I ended up with FCKeditor because I wanted it to do <code> tags.

There are two ways to install FCKeditor - through the WYSIWYG editor and by itself. There are pros and cons to both methods. If you install it by yourself and you want custom toolbar arrangements you have to hand-code them into the config file. Not a big deal, except that you'll have to copy that over every time you upgrade.

With the WISYWIG module there is an admin interface to select which buttons you want to show. The problem with it is that you can't easily switch between different skins (the default skin is kind of ugly).

Also, with or without the WYSIWYG module, it's easy to switch to a different editor if you don't like the one you're using.

You mean this one: FCKEditor

You mean this one: FCKEditor ?

But Ive tried to let it work and got confused about which way to install it or to install the other modules required first.

Sorry. To me, "rich editor"

Sorry. To me, "rich editor" brought RTF to mind... Didn't occur to me it meant WYSIWYG- or even WYSINWYG.

No worries. Stuff happens.

It was the FCKEditor mention that tipped us off, easy mistake to make if you're not familiar with that particular WYSIWYG editor (there are a million out there after all).

That is correct ... but I've found the link is very useful for different purposes

But still confused about which one I should pick?

I think I want a one that has:

1- WYSIWYG
2- Include as many features as possible
3- Stable.

That all I have in my mind ... so is it a correct theory when I think about which editor to use.

Thanks
