    <description> &lt;p&gt;For browser information, you can get that from the web server, via something like PHP. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;For other information such as screen size, you will need javascript for that. Now javascript can also get you the browser info, but I prefer to use server side for that in case they don&#039;t have javascript turned off.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you are wanting to get it for statistical info, try using a counter that provides this. One I prefer is 123stat.com. You can get a free trial account, and they will give you a sniplet of javascript to put on your pages. If you look carefully, you can see how they get the info. &lt;/p&gt;
