Why do you think that is? Could it be the empty table cells used?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;body class and doc type for two.&lt;br /&gt;
Doctype is html transitional in one and the other is XHTML strict.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;While that &quot;might&quot; not be the issue, I wonder what other differences in code you have?&lt;/p&gt;
