Awww, well at least you tried! And hey, you might be right.

I tried osCommerce a while ago, it was alright but apparently security isn't great and the templates are (or at least were, a couple of years ago) terrible. Lots of table-based layout, little ability for CSS theming.

Personally, if I were building a shopping cart now, I'd probably use Ubercart, which is a module for Drupal. You might find some commercial standalone shopping carts, which do what you want though.

Looking around, I found an Ubercart Drupal module, which seems to do what you need. There's also this blog post, by one of the Ubercart developers, that points to a site who use Ubercart to almost exactly what you're trying to do.

I completed a similar project (DIY business cards), and went the complete custom route, as I did not find anything remotely suitable...
