    <description> &lt;p&gt;I used to use browsershots a lot more before Safari for Windows was available (which appears to have the same engine and issues as the Mac version)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It&#039;s a good tool to quickly check for problems (on my Vista with IE7 I need to fire up a Virtual PC to use IE6)&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;Yup.  When you submit your website to be viewed in let&#039;s say IE 7.0 on Windows, browsershots forwards that request to a shot factory running Windows and IE 7.0.  That computer loads up the browser, loads the page, takes a screenshot, and uploads that back to the website.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You will occasionally get a screenshot from a messed up machine, but it&#039;s accurate for the most part.&lt;/p&gt;
