Strange name for that website.
The first thing I tried was the Google Analytics article, Javascript.
Them the start/stop slider, which obviously is JS, and so was the robot thing, JS.

Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad site, but I struggled to find ANYTHING related to what could be construed as a "CSS" trick or anything related directly to CSS.
