I always use NameCheap.com, they have a really good management system for you to use to manage all of your domains, I have heard some bad things about Go-Daddy freezing your domains and things like that so never use them.

I have never had a problem with namecheap and I must have registered over 500 + domains with them

I only know of Godaddy at the moment that would give you a free email account to your domain.
To make the domain expense cheaper just do a search on google for godaddy coupons.

I use GoDaddy for my domains. I'm not sure what they offer for email because I have enough servers to manage my own email for little additional overhead .
